## Overview

Broker Outreach Message Generator ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users generate personalized outreach messages for business broker listings. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

## Data Collection and Storage

### Data We Collect

1. User Settings: Your name, NDA preferences, financing status, and timeline preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's sync storage.

2. API Keys: If you provide an OpenAI API key, it is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption and stored locally in your browser. Your API key is never transmitted to our servers.

3. Usage Count: We track the number of messages generated to manage the free tier limit. This count is stored locally in your browser.

### Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal identification information beyond what you voluntarily provide in settings
• We do not track your browsing history
• We do not collect data from the business listings you view
• We do not have access to your API keys (they are encrypted and stored only in your browser)

## Data Transmission

### Third-Party Services

1. OpenAI API: When you generate a message with an API key configured, the listing description and your preferences are sent to OpenAI's API to generate the outreach message. This is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

2. ExtensionPay: For payment processing, we use ExtensionPay. When you upgrade to a paid plan, ExtensionPay handles the transaction. This is subject to ExtensionPay's Privacy Policy.

### What We Send to Third Parties

• To OpenAI*: Business listing descriptions (scraped from the page you're viewing) and your configured preferences to generate personalized messages
• To ExtensionPay*: Only payment-related information required to process your subscription
